MTB is the place for you, here’s why:

Looking for an evening filled with inspiration, new connections, delicious food and a photo opportunity at every corner? Look no further than a Minding Their Business event.
As the event is hosted on the luscious Yot Club, stepping onto the boat you know you're in for a divine cruise.
The evening started with delectable platters and an even more delicious dessert stand. Live singer, Luke Churchill, set the mood, giving pop classics the acoustic touch.

Coming alone seemed daunting, but with three friendly strangers offering to take my perfect ‘Gram’ photo early in the evening, the anxiety of coming alone quickly eased.

Everyone was so friendly, and I was never alone for more than a minute. The majority of the guests attended by themselves and were eager to connect, taking full advantage of the networking opportunities for which the event was created.

In the middle of the action were three incredible guest speakers: Rachel Dillon, Elly Smith and Dan Hunjas. All gave thought-provoking insights into their businesses and offered advice that contributed to business and personal development.

Rachel is the owner and founder of Bodies by Rachel and Crop Shop Boutique. She is A phenomenal example of a woman going after her dream, working hard for it, achieving it and then nurturing it so it continues to grow. She said in the empowerment panel, “If you want it, you will achieve it.” She has built Bodies by Rachel around empowering women and making them feel their best. Her words inspired me and as she said in the panel,

"If I don't give up, I'm going to achieve it.”

Elly Smith is owner and founder of Kind Mind Co. She emphasised the importance of mental health and resilience. She is an absolute inspiration, especially after learning in the panel that she launched her business right at the start of lockdown. When asked why she launched her business at such an unsure time, she said:

"I'm going to do it, or I'm going to watch someone do it."

She was a total delight to listen to and I can't wait to see her new business thrive.

Dan Hunjas is owner and founder of Edge Marketing and a mentor for the K2 Elite Business community. His personal and professional insights on building a successful brand were taken on board by everyone in the room. Dan advocates that, “While building a brand and looking to achieve a goal, you should always live in the pursuit of happiness.” Dan left me feeling inspired to get out of my comfort zone and what he said that resonated the most with me was

"Discomfort is where you'll find growth.”

The Minding Their Business event has left me feeling inspired, empowered, connected to like-minded people and ready to take the advice on board to better myself and achieve my goals.

I highly recommend attending an MTB or MHB event. You can sign up to the mailing list here: https://mindingherbusiness.com.au to be the first to hear about upcoming events.

I hope to see you at the next event!
